Here are a few pictures taken in Warsaw, Poland when I was there last month. I spent a month in Europe...mostly in Poland but we also visited Hungary, Slovakia, Germany and Czech Republic. I'll be uploading photos from the trip in the next couple weeks.

I'm wearing a vintage dress. Lately, all I've wanted to buy are adorable little dresses from the 60s...so that's exactly what I've been doing! I love the bib thing (no other way to describe it) on this one.

I'm wearing a crop top I made, a vintage belt and topshop shorts. These shorts are incredible...I want to live in them.

Listening to: Blue-Joni Mitchell. Favorite track: River. Joni Mitchell has such a wonderful voice. It's so sweet and melodic and I absolutely adore it. This album is a good place to start on her work in my opinion.

I should probably address my absence. I know I've been a horrible blogger lately, and I'm sorry about that! I still really enjoy posting, but I don't always have the time to do it. Hopefully I'll be posting a bit more regularly...but probably not as much as I used to.

I hope you all are having a lovely summer! I spent most of July in Eastern Europe. It was a really wonderful experience (with a lot of driving involved) and I'll put a post together in the next few days with some pictures from the trip.

Vintage Dress. I need way more psychedelic 60s dresses in my closet.
Listening to: Donovan's Greatest Hits. Favorite track-Mellow Yellow. This is one of my favorite songs. I've always loved it!

I have come to the point where I don't post very much on here anymore. I used to feel obligated to post a couple times a week, but not really anymore. Don't get me wrong, I still love running this blog, but I don't always have the time to take pictures. I'll still update it, but probably only a couple times per month realistically. Thanks to all of you who still read it!

On another note, I am seeing one of my all time favorite people in concert tomorrow night- Robert Plant!!!!!! I am beyond excited, I have been counting down the days for months and it's finally here! I'll definitely put up a quick post about the show in the next few days.

Have a lovely weekend everyone!

Vintage dress, American Apparel cardigan. My 70s wardrobe is steadily growing and it makes me incredibly happy.

Listening to: Led Zeppelin III. Favorite track: That's the Way. Okay wait maybe it's Tangerine. Or maybe Bron-y-aur Stomp (written about Robert Plant's dog HOW ADORABLE IS THAT). I am clearly rather indecisive about this album. Well actually, let me tell you a little story about this album:

One day, almost two years ago, I was in one of my favorite record stores. To clarify, III wasn't one of my favorite albums at that time like it is now. So anyways, at that record store, I found a copy in the Led Zeppelin section for $10. And I thought to myself, "if I buy this, I won't have enough money to buy lunch. it's either lunch or a new record!" Well, silly me picked lunch. And I regretted it. I couldn't find the record ANYWHERE after that. I searched in countless record stores, ebay, asked for it for Christmas, but nothing. And this past January, a year and a half after that fateful decision, I was still III-less. It was all I wanted! Then one day I went to a record show. I circled every booth, searching for III. It was nowhere to be found! Finally, at one of the last booths, I asked in defeat not expecting anything, "do you have Led Zeppelin III?" And guess what! He had it, and for only $8! It was probably one of the greatest moments of my life. I kissed the record when nobody was looking, which is sort of embarrassing but oh well.

Vintage romper and random cashmere sweater.
Listening to: A Night At the Opera. Favorite track: Bohemian Rhapsody. I know it's cliche, but still! Lately, I have been easing into Queen, I guess I would say. My dad loves them and I've always known they are great, but I had never really listened to any of their albums in their entirety until recently. Slowly, I am listening to each album one by one. And I'm also slowly falling in love. Wow, that sounds incredibly corny...

Oh and I've always wanted to do a shoot in a laundromat; I finally did it!

I got this shirt at H&M, which was a surprising. A lot of the time, chain stores (AHEM, TARGET) will destroy a band tshirt by adding silly designs when the original design could be magnificent! H&M did a good job with this one.

Listening to: The Song Remains the Same Soundtrack-Led Zeppelin. For those of you who haven't seen the movie that the music on this record is taken from, you must. It is live footage, but so much more than that. You also see into the band members' heads with "dream sequences"...I can't really explain it well, but it's incredible. Favorite track...well, The Rain Song is my all-time favorite Zeppelin song, but their 30 minute live version of Dazed and Confused on this is also incredible.

Ugh I know I have been away for a long time, I am terribly sorry! I feel like I've been saying much too often lately and haven't been following through, but I really will try to blog more often in the new year.

Anyways, I'm wearing a thrifted sweater and a beanie from SunDiego.

Listening to: Meet the Beatles. Favorite track: Not a Second Time.
Yesterday I went to a record show that comes through every few months, AND IT WAS AMAZING!!! I got so many great records (11 total) for awesome prices. I found Led Zeppelin III, which I've been looking for for almost 2 years now. I am so excited to eventually share them all!
