the circle game part two

My photographer/friend Nora made this video from footage we took about a month ago. Even though it took a little while for her to finish, I really like how it turned out! The song is The Circle Game by Joni Mitchell.

Enjoy :)

After a delicious brunch a few weeks ago, I stopped with my sister, dad, and Graham from Suck My Savvy to take some pictures (we stopped at a hat shop on the way). My scanner decided to slightly change the coloring on a couple of the pictures and I'm sort of fading into the background of the third picture, but it's all good! You can see Graham's post about me and Nove Here and his post about his outfit that day Here!

I wore a vintage Betsey Johnson leotard and suede skirt, American Apparel tube bra and cardigan, boots from LF.

Speaking of American Apparel, I never got to mention that I'm on one of their product pages! (here)It was so nice of them to put me on there, especially since American Apparel is one of my favorite stores. It's great how they're supporting bloggers by doing that!

I also wanted to acknowledge that I've reached 30 followers! It's so exciting every time I get a new one and I love each one of you (and everyone else who reads my blog, of course). Thanks everyone :))

A few pictures from backstage at Fashion Week. It's nice and refreshing to see pictures that aren't just from the runway. More pictures Here

dream bag

I feel like this Moschino Cheap and Chic bag was made for me. It's just perfect in every way. Leather + record=perfection. I most definitely cannot afford it for $945, but I think I might do a DIY similar to it!

time warp

Vintage sweatshirt, hat, and Levis, Betsey Johnson socks. This is definitely a lazy outfit, but I like the color of the sweatshirt (borrowed from Nora), and also the lighting in these. One of my friends told me I'm "not shoeless enough" so I took off the flats I originally had on just for him.

Listening to: Rocky Horror Picture Show Soundtrack. Favorite track: Touch-a, Touch-a, Touch Me. I went to the midnight showing of this in LA a few months ago and it was a very strange (but fun I suppose) experience. I'd like to see the movie again without people yelling the entire time.

I'm really looking forward to the weekend. I'm planning on staying plan free and spending my time making a dress, thoroughly cleaning my room, and learning to drive stick. I recently got my permit, it's pretty exciting!

Vintage Betsey Johnson bustier and blazer, vintage shoes, leather skirt I made. I'm really happy how this skirt turned out! I had never worked with leather before.

Listening to: Days of Future Passed-The Moody Blues. Favorite track: The Night: Nights in White Satin.

Crop top I made myself, vintage Levis and boots. I wore this crop top on here pretty recently I believe, but I didn't get to show the braiding in the back. And I have been wearing these boots nonstop.
Listening to: Bridge Over Troubled Water-Simon and Garfunkel. Favorite track: Cecilia.

This creepy van was the only car in this parking lot, and I'm still not sure if its ugliness made these pictures better or worse.

Hope everyone has a nice Wednesday night! I am free from homework tonight which is really nice for a change, I'm going to go work on a leather skirt I've been making that I'm really excited about. I should have it done be this weekend so I can show you guys!
